A new season of Market fun!

Spring is peeking out this week in Asheville, and we're shaking off the winter hibernation and getting ready for a new season of live Markets!

Asheville Street Markets will soon begin highlighting the full range of Artist Markets in the area, so if you've got one you'd like to see highlighted, send some information to 'info' at 'crazygreenstudios.com'.

This weekend, we see the return of the 2nd Saturday Artist Market.  This year, the Market moves inside to a hip new location in The Rocket Club,

and in addition to the great arty and crafty vendors, there will now be food!  March will welcome Suzy Phillips of the soon-to-be-opened-west-asheville-can't-live-without-it Zeytoon.  The Community Booth also returns, hosting Homeward Bound.  And at the vendor tables, you'll find ceramics, accessories, glass, encaustics, toys, jewelry, felted wonders and more!

And right across the street, be sure to check out big fun at Asheville BookWorks as they welcome Drive-By Press from 1-5pm. Drive-By Press is a collaborative print and fashion experience specializing in limited edition apparel. Artists Gregory Nanney and Steven Prohira will be rolling through Ashville North Carolina to print outside at the on (((Dates snd time???.))) Come check out their custom, hand-cut woodblocks. 

You select the design and placement on the shirt and its inked and printed to your specifications from their mobile printing press! Come see their collection of over 1000 prints gathered from across the country from hundreds of artists from coast to coast!!!

The 2nd Saturday Artist Market returns for a second season with a new sponsor and a new home!

Crazy Green Studios welcomes The Rocket Club as event sponsor and also event host.  The Market will take place inside The Rocket Club on the 2nd Saturday of each month from March through December, from 11:00am - 5:00pm.

Vendors will have space for a 6' table and chairs or like-sized display, and in addition to the great art and craft vendors, we are pleased to add some of our areas great independent food vendors to the Market.  March will feature delicious treats from the soon-to-be-opened Zeytoon.

Returning to the monthly Market is the Community Booth. Each month we will host a local organization to support their efforts, help recruit volunteers and advertise events. In addition to the monthly featured organization, each month we will collect canned food and other non-perishables for MANNA FoodBank.
